I predicted this would happen about 10 years ago.  You just can’t let the kids that grew up playing strategy games into Town Planning University. They should have been heavily vetting all applications from 2001 onwards. Now I fear it’s too late.

I bet the next time I go to the doctor he measures my life bar and examines my hit points.

  1. This made my morning. Also, I want to play simcity now.

  2. 13 houses, and all those unconstructed plots. There is something really depressing about that picture.

  3. It will look fine once there’s three power stations, a barracks, an armory, three missile defences, two Tesla towers and an airfield.

  4. This is very true. Even the flawed economic model is the same.

  5. That’s in Rio Vista, CA.

  6. Yes, it’s Rio Vista, CA. Gmaps: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=rio+vista,+ca&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=47.838189,61.171875&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Rio+Vista,+Solano,+California&ll=38.1975,-121.718044&spn=0.011737,0.014935&t=h&z=16

    Look Northwest of the airport.

  7. Well…somebody needs to zone those lots first if they want anything to be built.

  8. [...] I blame Sim Citymurderburger.co.nz [...]

  9. Even in simcity it is a terrible strategy to build a vast network of roads before you build the zones.

  10. murderburger: I feel you on the barracks. I could go for a heavy factory, too.

  11. i mean, it really just needs power lines… and we need a subterranean view to check the water pipes. it looks like a solid start otherwise.

  12. Where are the trees? :(

  13. Trees? In the city?

That green block on the upper left is gonna be a park.
