I watched Pulp Fiction last week while playing the Grease soundtrack.  Weirdly it kind of works.  Watching Grease with the Pulp Fiction soundtrack playing would probably work too but I hate that movie.  I don’t like watching anything that’s also made a successful transition to Broadway. This is somehow directly related to one of my principals.  Not sure which one.

Once again China shows why they are well on their way to becoming our rightful overlords.  While the US struggles with plugging a simple hole in the ocean, China has already invented a reusable poncho for space travel – ideal for repeat space travelling on a budget. Falling over in front of the opposition is a time honoured Italian technique dating back to World War 2.  One they have successfully integrated into their sports, politics and economy.

Somewhere around 1995 car manufacturers started replacing all the mechanical bits in cars with science fiction.  So if your timing went out you no longer knew if it was just because your timing belt/chain was worn as the problem could just as easily be caused by having a faulty cigarette lighter.  In the end I gave up on trying to fix my cars altogether and consequently no longer discount faith healing and psychiatric counselling as viable options for mechanical repair.
