Ben (cheers Ben!) bought these beauties from Dubrovnik in Croatia, I particularly like how they’ve used Michael Jackson as the spokesperson on the front.

I’ve never actually been to Croatia but when I do I plan on calling it ‘Yugoslavia’ whenever I meet someone in the street. What I reakon will happen is that the person I meet will be so horrified at my ignorance about all the different ethnic tribes that make up the region that they will invite me to eat and drink with them while they explain why it’s important for everyone to kill each other. Then once I’m full I will thank them for their wisdom and say that I like their particular football team the best. I’m pretty sure I could stay over there for a month and not have to pay for food at all.

The only downside would be if the food they gave me tasted really bad. Because then I would have to sit through their speech and eat the bad food so as not to appear impolite. You have to remember that these people kill their own neighbours a lot, so you don’t want to get on their bad side.

PS. Interesting question. Is it too early to make jokes about Michael Jackson? Or is it too late? Because in my mind he became some sort of fictional character a long time ago so I see him more as a universal default for ‘ambiguous blackness’ then an actual person who has loved ones that miss him because he’s dead. I never use him as a direct reference to kiddy-fiddling though as that would be bad taste.

But what’s not bad taste is the Double Beef, Wild Boar and Bacon Burger from Murder Burger!

I find it quite interesting that the Apollo missions were equipped with tape and cardboard. I also find it interesting that the astronauts cared whether their mudflaps were working or not. They only had so much oxygen, it’s weird that they used a bit of it up fixing the car? This is the reason I support women going to the moon. Men are too easily distracted.

This is a much more convenient way to remember your loved ones. Because you don’t have to remember them at all if they are still right there in your lounge.

I like the velvet curtain too, although I suspect it’s mainly there to keep the pets out. Dogs like to nibble on things out of curiosity. Sometimes boredom.

The headline kind of wrote itself. Although I bet I could have written “Good Morning Vietnam!” and you would have thought this was a picture of Robin Williams.  Those guys are looking more and more alike everyday.

Also I don’t know if that woman on the right is Mrs Bono. But she could be.

If I was writing an article about ‘looking for opportunities in the global recession’ I’d use this pic as a metaphor. Or simile? No, I think it’s a metaphor.

Also, if anyone wants me to write an article about the global recession you should get in touch because I already have a picture.
